Good to know
- A donation and refundable deposit are collected at checkout
- Gowns must be returned clean and in good condition
- Alterations are permitted -- please speak with a volunteer before altering

Have a gown you no longer need? Pass it on to a family who will treasure it. We gratefully accept gowns and formalwear in good condition -- from baby and flower girl dresses to bat mitzvah and cocktail dresses, wedding gowns, and more.
Leave gown donations on the porch at either location:
Drop off anytime -- no need to call ahead. Tax receipts available upon request.

A community treasure
Something Borrowed has served Teaneck since 2023, lending over 500 exquisite gowns to families in need of formalwear. Now settled into a permanent home at 545 Cedar Lane, the gemach features a spacious, bright collection space filled with natural light.
The collection spans gowns for baby girls, flower girls, bat mitzvahs, cocktail events, mothers and sisters of the bride, and a large selection of white wedding gowns, veils, and graduation dresses. Suits and tuxedos for baby boys too.
